WEEKLY AWARD: For the fourth time in the last five weeks, RPI's
Cooper Urban was named the Liberty League Rookie of the Week ... The freshman attack had five goals and one assist with 13 shots (8 on goal) and two ground balls in two games, including team-highs in goals (2), points (3), shots (7) and shots on goal (4), along with two ground balls in a 16-7 loss to Williams.Â
BARD TO DATE: The Raptors began the season with a 14-5 loss at Mount Saint Mary and then were defeated by Oneonta State 13-3 ... Bard has since won three straight games, including victories over SUNY Canton (9-8 in OT), SUNY Cobleskill (9-7) and Rosemont (16-15) ... Its league opener, which was scheduled for last Saturday at St. Lawrence, was postponed.
BARD LAST TIME OUT: Peter Sojka and Corey Rich finished with six goals apiece, Sojka added two assists and Rich one as Bard defeated Rosemont 16-15 in a back-and-forth affair on March 20 ... Jack Kaplan scored twice, and the Raptors got single goals from two others ... Emanuel Grenier-Benoit led Bard with eight ground balls, while Kaplan, William Baffuto and Logan Leppo collected six ground balls apiece ... Lyle Healey made 13 saves ... Sojka was named to the Liberty League Weekly Honor Roll.
ROSTER BREAKDOWNS: RPI has a 51-man roster that features 11 seniors, seven juniors, 15 sophomores and 18 freshmen ... The Raptors have two freshmen, five sophomores, five juniors, a senior and a graduate student on their roster.

PRESEASON POLL: In a vote by the league's head coaches, RIT received eight first-place votes for 64 points to rank first in the 2019 Liberty League Preseason Poll ... Ithaca was second with 53 points and a first place vote ... Rensselaer and St. Lawrence tied for third with 47 points apiece ...
