Keaton Ackermann, Lucas Bastarache and Robby Gale each contributed a goal and an assist and Oliver Kaija was successful on 19 of 29 faceoffs, picking up a game-best seven ground balls ... RPI LAST TIME OUT: Owen Putman scored five goals, JT Kelly had four and two others had three as No. 16 Rensselaer defeated Bard 26-3 on Wednesday ... RPI scored the first 10 goals and led 11-1 after the first quarter with Putman scoring four times, Cooper Urban twice and Kelly twice ... Putman finished with nine points, Kelly had eight and Urban notched four ... Tyler Hancock was 14 of 21 on faceoffs with eight ground balls and Nick DeOliveira won 9 of 11 with seven pickups ... SKIDMORE TO DATE: The Thoroughbreds began the season with a 15-9 loss at Babson and then were defeated by Plattsburgh State 10-8 ... Skidmore then defeated Oneonta State (12-10) and lost to Endicott (11-4) before opening league play at Ihtaca, where it lost 18-12 ... The Thoroughbreds beat Norwich (12-7), lost to Union (14-5) and defeated Keene State (14-10).

LAST TIME OUT: On Tuesday in Saratoga Springs, Skidmore erupted for six goals in the fourth quarter, rallying from a two-goal deficit to defeat Keene State 14-10 ... Eric Megnia had three goals, while Garrett Munck, Ward Mahoney, Jason Shlonsky and Alex Miller each scored twice ... Will Lukas tallied a season-best four assists ... Nine different Thoroughbreds caused a turnover and Tim Rahill stopped 14 shots, including a pair of saves in the fourth quarter to ward off the Keene State attack ... He also led the team with five ground balls ... Joe Nutting and Connor Nolan each tallied three goals to lead the Owls ... Matthew Lemke was dominant at the face-off 'x', winning 20 of 24 attempts for Keene.
