TROY, N.Y. - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's tennis team begins its final week of the season with a Liberty League match on Tuesday at 4pm against Bard College at Sharp Courts. The Engineers (6-13; 0-6) look to snap an eight-match losing streak, while the Raptors (5-6; 0-6) have dropped three straight contests.
During the 2017-18 meeting, which took place on October 7 at Bard, Rensselaer lost just eight games over nine matches in winning 9-0. RPI got off to a 3-0 win with a sweep of doubles by scores of 8-1 (No. 1), 8-0 (No. 2) and 8-0 (No. 3). Singles went much the same way with the Engineers winning by a combined 60-1 in seeds No. 2 to No. 6. The closest match of the day was at No. 1 singles with Rensselaer'sÂ

Rensselaer is also home on Wednesday when it faces Union College at 4pm at Sharp Courts. Bard travels to RIT on Saturday at 11am for its final match of the season.
