FINAL STRETCH
The Engineers return to the Houston Field House for their final two regular season home games of the 2019-20 season this weekend, when they host No. 16 Quinnipiac and Princeton on Friday (7pm) and Saturday (7pm), respectively ... RPI will celebrate Senior Night on Saturday against the Tigers.

SPLIT ON THE ROAD
RPI took one of two ECAC Hockey games over the weekend, beating Colgate, 4-1, on Friday night, before falling at No. 2 Cornell, 4-2, on Saturday ... Sophomore Ture Linden posted his first career three-assist game against the Raiders, before the Engineers saw their comeback effort fall just short against the Big Red, tallying early second and third period goals to draw within 3-2, before Cornell potted an empty-netter.

RPI LEADERS
Rensselaer senior Chase Zieky (7 goals, 13 assists) has a team-high 20 points, while classmates Will Reilly (7 goals, 10 assists) and Mike Gornall (5 goals, 12 assists) are right behind him with 17 points apiece ... Fellow senior Patrick Polino (9 goals, 6 assists) and sophomore Ture Linden (5 goals, 10 assists) have 15 points each, while senior Todd Burgess (8 goals, 6 assists) has 14.

GOALTENDING
Sophomore Owen Savory (9-9-2) has a 2.38 goals against average and a .920 save percentage in 20 starts, while junior Linden Marshall (3-3-0) has a 2.90 goals against average and a .904 save percentage in eight games (6 starts) ... Classmate Alec Calvaruso (1-3-0) has a 3.91 goals against average and a .869 save percentage in five games (4 starts).

DEPTH IN NUMBERS
The Engineers boast 12 players with double-digit point totals already this season, including six seniors, two sophomores and four freshmen.

DOUBLE DIGIT DISHES
Six Engineers have recorded 10 or more assists this season, which is the most since eight accomplished the feat during the 2013-14 season.

ALL-TIME VS. QUINNIPIAC
RPI trails the all-time series with Quinnipiac 7-18-9 … Rensselaer won the inaugural meeting, 6-4, on October 16, 1999, in Albany.

RECENTLY
Quinnipiac has won five out of the last six match-ups against RPI … Rensselaer's last win against Quinnipiac came on November 10, 2017, 5-3.

LAST SEASON
Sophomore Odeen Tufto scored late in the third period to lift sixth-ranked Quinnipiac to a 2-1 victory over the Engineers, at the Houston Field House ... The Bobcats also came away with a 3-0 home victory over RPI on November 9, 2018.

STREAKS
Rensselaer went unbeaten in its first five games against Quinnipiac … Quinnipiac then produced a 14-game streak (5 ties) from 2011-2017.

STANDING THE HALL OF FAME
The 2020 RPI Athletics Hall of Fame Class was announced and two men's hockey alumni have been selected in Marc Cavosie '03 and Matt Murley '02 ... The duo will be joined by three others at this year's induction ceremony in April. 

CONFERENCE SUCCESS
Individually, all three RPI netminders have had solid seasons in ECAC Hockey play ... Owen Savory is 7-6-1 with a 2.11 goals against average and a .927 save percentage, while Alec Calvaruso (1-1-0) has a 2.03 goals against average and a .921 save percentage ... Not to be outdone, Linden Marshall (1-1-0) boasts a 1.83 goals against average and a .938 save percentage.

VERY GOOD BOYS
At 7.40 penalty minutes per game, the Engineers are the second least penalized team in the nation, trailing only Minnesota (7.23) ... Alaska, the most penalized team, is averaging 15.44 minutes per contest ... Amongst ECAC Hockey foes, Harvard is right behind RPI at 7.76 minutes per game.

GOALIE OF THE MONTH
Sophomore Owen Savory was named MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Month for January by ECAC Hockey after posting a 4-0-1 record in five starts ... He compiled a 0.59 goals against average and a .980 save percentage, with two shutouts ... He was twice named ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Week during the run.

NATIONAL RECOGNITION
Savory also garnered Hockey Commissioners Association Goalie of the Month honors after posting his undefeated January.

EXORCISTS
This the season the Engineers have halted a number of winless streaks, including eight straight against Dartmouth, seven in a row with Clarkson, five consecutive Big Red Freakout! games and three Mayor's Cup contests.

ENGINEERS DROP TWO
The Engineers were swept in a non-league series at Western Michigan last weekend, falling by scores of 8-4 and 6-2 ... Freshman Tristan Ashbrook had two goals in the series opener, before senior Todd Burgess posted a goal and an assist in the finale ... The series marked the final non-league contests of the regular season for RPI.

TWO BILLS
With RPI's win over Vermont on February 1, head coach Dave Smith eared his 200th career victory ... He won 172 over his 12-year stint at Canisius, before taking over the Engineers in 2017-18.

TURN IT UP... PAST 11
Senior Patrick Polino's seventh goal of the season gave him 12 points on the year, which set a new career high ... He recorded exactly 11 points in each of his three previous seasons.

THREE SHUTOUTS
Sophomore Owen Savory's three shutouts this season are the most by an RPI goaltender since Jason Kasdorf recorded three during his freshman season of 2012-13. 

ALMOST THREE IN A ROW
Savory came just 12.8 seconds from becoming the first RPI hockey goaltender to record three consecutive shutouts, when he surrendered Brown's only goal on January 18. 

EMPTY NET DOUBLE
The Engineers netted empty net goals in back-to-back games on January 3 and 4 for the first time since Freakout! Weekend in 2011 ... RPI beat Brown 3-0 and then-No. 1 Yale, 5-2, on in the Big Red Freakout!

ECAC HOCKEY RANKINGS
The Engineers are sixth in the league scoring, averaging 2.60 goals per game ... RPI's power play is ninth at 15.1%, while its penalty kill is second (84.0%) ... The Engineers are allowing 30.0 shots per game this season, which is good for seventh in the conference ... They gave up 33.6 shots per contest last year ... RPI is fourth in the league in face-off percentage at 51.0% after ending last season in 11th (47.2%) ... The Engineers are allowing just 2.16 goals per game in ECAC Hockey play, which ranks fourth ...
