The Engineers close out their regular season schedule this weekend, when they visit Harvard University and Dartmouth College on Friday (7pm) and Saturday (7pm), respectively.
BIG HOME SWEEP
RPI outscored the opposition 11-1 last week in winning its final two regular season home games over then-No. 16 Quinnipiac (4-0) and Princeton (7-1) on Senior Night ... Senior
Todd Burgess paced the Engineers offensive with five goals on the weekend, including four against the Tigers on Saturday ...
Owen Savory posted a 37-save shutout – his fourth of the year – against the Bobcats, before stopped 21 of 22 shots in Saturday night.

The Engineers boast 12 players with double-digit point totals already this season, including six seniors, two sophomores and four freshmen ... Seven have 17 or more through 32 games.
DOUBLE DIGIT DISHES
Eight Engineers have recorded 10 or more assists this season, which is the most since eight accomplished the feat during the 2013-14 season.
ALL-TIME VS. HARVARD
Rensselaer trails the all-time series with Harvard, 38-58-8 … The Engineers won the inaugural meeting, 6-2, on December 27, 1951, in Troy.
RECENTLY
Harvard has won four out of the last six matchups against RPI going 4-1-1 … Rensselaer's last win against Harvard came on January 13, 2017, with a score of 4-0.
LAST SEASON
Freshman Casey Dornbach scored in overtime to lift Harvard to a 3-2 victory over RPI at Bright-Landry Hockey Center ... The Crimson then answered a first period Engineers goal with two in the each of the final two periods for a 4-1 victory on March 1, 2019, at the Houston Field House.
STREAKS
Harvard won 12 of 13 games from 1986-1989 … The Engineers best stretch was from 1997-2000 when they won nine out of 10 games.

Rensselaer has competed against Harvard in 11 overtime games leading those games with a record of 3-2-7.

TWO GARNER LEAGUE HONORS
ECAC Hockey has announced its weekly award winners
Todd Burgess was named Player of the Week, while
Owen Savory earned MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week honors on February 24 ... It was the third time this season Savory has earned the award ... Burgess led all of Division I college hockey with five goals last week, notching an ECAC Hockey-best two power play tallies with a +5 rating ... Savory stopped 58 of the 59 shots he faced last week, going 2-0 with a 0.50 goals against average and a .983 save percentage.
STANDING THE HALL OF FAME
The 2020 RPI Athletics Hall of Fame Class was announced and two men's hockey alumni have been selected in
Marc Cavosie '03 and Matt Murley '02 ... The duo will be joined by three others at this year's induction ceremony in April.
CONFERENCE SUCCESS
Individually, all three RPI netminders have had solid seasons in ECAC Hockey play ...
Owen Savory is 9-6-1 with a 1.90 goals against average and a .934 save percentage, while
Alec Calvaruso (1-1-0) has a 2.03 goals against average and a .921 save percentage ... Not to be outdone,
Linden Marshall (1-1-0) boasts a 1.83 goals against average and a .938 save percentage.
PENALTY KILL STREAK
The Engineers have killed off 11 of its last 12 shorthanded chances, including eight in a row dating back to February 15 at Cornell.
LUCKY SEVENS
RPI netted seven goals in a game for the third time this season on Saturday and not surprisingly, they are 3-0 in those contests.
VERY GOOD BOYS
At 7.38 penalty minutes per game, the Engineers are the second least penalized team in the nation, trailing only Minnesota (6.84) ... Alaska Anchorage, the most penalized team, is averaging 15.50 minutes per contest ... Amongst ECAC Hockey foes, Harvard is right behind RPI at 7.56 minutes per game.
GOALIE OF THE MONTH
Sophomore
Owen Savory was named MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Month for January by ECAC Hockey after posting a 4-0-1 record in five starts ... He compiled a 0.59 goals against average and a .980 save percentage, with two shutouts ... He was twice named ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Week during the run.
NATIONAL RECOGNITION
Savory garnered Hockey Commissioners Association Goalie of the Month honors after posting his undefeated January ... On February 26,
Todd Burgess earned NCAA Third Star of the Week for his five-goal outburst.
