GAMEDAY (Feb. 8, 2020): The Engineers (17-2; 12-0) host league foe Vassar College (8-11; 4-8) in their first home game since January 21.

ROAD WARRIORS: RPI has played six of its last seven games on the road ... The Engineers now have four straight contests at East Campus Arena.

POSTPONEMENT: Rensselaer was scheduled to begin its homestand on Friday against Ithaca, but that game was moved to Sunday (2pm) due to inclement weather and hazardous travel conditions from Ithaca to Troy.

OTHERWISE PLAYED: All other Liberty League games for Friday night were expected to proceed as scheduled, including Vassar at Bard.

SEVENTEEN STRAIGHT: Rensselaer has won each of its last 17 games, six of which have come in Troy ... The winning streak is RPI's longest since the 1990-91 squad won a school record 18 in a row on its way to the NCAA Tournament ... The Engineers finished 20-5 that year.

STANDINGS: Rensselaer holds a two-and-a-half game lead over Hobart and a three-and-a-half game lead over Ithaca in the Liberty League standings ... The top six schools qualify for the conference's post-season tournament.

SCHOOL RECORD: RPI's 12 league wins are the most in school history for a single season ... The previous mark was 11, which most recently happened in 2012-13 when the Engineers finished 11-5.

REMATCH: Saturday's game is a rematch of a January 24 meeting between RPI and the Brewers, which the Engineers won 59-56 ... The 59 points RPI scored is its lowest in a win this season (3rd overall) ... The margin of victory (3 points) is its smallest of the campaign.

JANUARY 24: Dom Black registered team-highs of 18 points and eight rebounds to lead Rensselaer to a 59-56 victory over Vassar ... Black scored 15 points on 7 of 8 shooting in the initial 20 minutes and then added three points and five rebounds in the second half ... Patrick Mahoney tallied eight second half points and finished with 14, along with four rebounds and three steals ... The Brewers were led by Lance Tebay and Avni Mustafaj's 12 points apiece ... Kevin McAuliffe added 11 points.

LAST 10 AGAINST VASSAR: Rensselaer is 7-3 in its last 10 games with the Brewers.

LAST 10 IN TROY: RPI has won eight of its last 10 home meetings with Vassar, including four of the last five at ECAV.

RPI LAST WEEKEND: The Engineers played two away games, winning at Skidmore in Saratoga Springs on Friday (78-65) and at Union in Schenectady on Saturday (85-79) ... RPI is now 9-1 in road games.
