Favorite sports memory during career?
"Beating Utica on a last second, 2-point conversion stand, under the lights. Will never forget that moment." - March 2020

What makes Rensselaer so special?
"Rensselaer is the greatest school in the world. If I was accepted to every school in the country, I would pick RPI every single time. Every day is a new challenge, and no day is the same. The people here are some of the best people I will ever know. This is not only a school, but a second home to me." - March 2020

What are your post-graduation plans?
"I am returning to RPI to pursue my MBA. I am excited to see the tremendous success of RPI Football for years to come." - March 2020

From the coaching staff:
"Grant is one of the best teammates and leaders this program has ever seen. His work ethic, personality and leadership will shape our program for years to come.  His career is the epitome of the phrase "hard work pays off." - March 2020

What others say:
"Grant is the hardest working person I have ever played with. He earned a spot as our captain through his incredible ability to lead by example and inspire those around him. He made me want to become a better player and person everyday. Although he didn't earn a starting position until his senior year, it never diminished his confidence. He consistently outworked players with more talent, and by his senior year he won our team's Most Valuable Player award. If we went into battle, Grant is the first guy that I would choose to be in my foxhole." - March 2020

"The best leader I have ever known." - April 2020

"A guy who truly represents what it means to be a part of #REDFAM. His leadership in the locker room, in the weight room, and on the field are truly something that the team will miss. His energy in anything he does is contagious." - April 2020

"The true embodiment of what it means to be a 'student-athlete in a place like RPI.'" - April 2020

"One of the hardest working people I know." - April 2020
