Favorite sports memory during career?
"There are so many it's hard to narrow it down to one. I would have to say auto-qualifying for Cross Country Nationals for the first time in 2018 has to be at the top of the list. It's a day I will never forget, not just because of the success, but the people that made it possible. Finding out after the race that we had qualified, everyone's face had the biggest smiles as we all congratulated each other. I remember talking after the race all saying that Coach had told us we were in second going into the last kilometer and how all of our immediate reactions were that we had to do it for each other. It was an amazing feeling of hard work paying off and celebrating with the people we had worked so hard with." - March 2020
What makes Rensselaer so special?
"The community. The people I was surrounded by are incredibly hard working and dedicated. Having the opportunity to be a part of a community that works so hard in all aspects of what they do has pushed me to continue to strive to keep getting better." - March 2020
What are your post-graduation plans?
"I will be moving to New Jersey to work for Axis Group as a Associate Solutions Consultant this summer." - March 2020
From the coaching staff:
"Maggie's progression from high school to college was unreal; she was eventually able to hold what she ran for a 1500 in high school for a 5k (3x the distance) in college. What set Maggie apart was her consistency and patience. She was able to train at a high level season after season rarely ever having a complaint of sickness or injury. She was a sponge when it came to practice, she absorbed everything she was told and was able to apply it perfectly. This made her an outstanding leader as she was able to teach people what she had learned. One of the amazing things about Maggie was her selflessness, she rarely complained about anything, and when a teammate needed something she was always there." - March 2020
What others say:

"Maggie is one of the most confident, hard-working and passionate runners I've ever seen. She was always ready to race her best at any meet and was always present to work hard at practice. She knew how to have fun on easy run days and I always enjoyed running by her side." March 2020
"Maggie is an amazing person and an amazing teammate. No one rocks the track as much as she does. She inspires me and the team to push ourselves higher just by being herself." - March 2020
"Maggie is an exceptional student-athlete and teammate. She has led the team by setting an example through commitment, discipline and hard work. She is the highest mileage runner on our team and her consistent hard work has shown through time and time again in her national caliber racing. Maggie shows kindness and warmth and she is a lifelong friend. I am lucky to have had her as a teammate for these four years." - April 2020
