From the coaching staff:
"Griffin was the ultimate competitor on the mound in his career at RPI. He never shied away from taking the ball in whatever roll he was given. He always competed when given the chance and loved being in big spots." - March 2020
What others say:
"Was a funny, outgoing guy who was a great teammate. Griffin showed me what it means to be a great teammate and how to support your teammates even if you were not playing. He was always the loudest one in the dugout and was constantly cheering on his teammates no matter what. He is a person who showed me that the little things matter and that supporting your teammates is very important." - March 2020
"Griff is a team player. When you need him, he's ready. He's got a unique skill in baseball that resonated throughout the team. He's the kind of kid to grab any opportunity with 100% confidence at a moment's notice. Griff also brings a ton of energy to the field and fires up the team. He is our energetic grease ball." - April 2020
"Great guy who wears his emotions on his sleeve." - April 2020
"Griff had a fire about him that was contagious throughout the whole team. He was driven by his bulldog mentality. As a pitcher, he was always ready to play and would always bring his best stuff, regardless of the situation. He was an essential glue guy for the pitching staff, one of the most important roles on any staff." - April 2020
"Sparkplug, lots of energy, always happy to be at the ball yard." - April 2020
"Always nice and supportive. Relaxing to talk to. Loved hanging out with him on and off the field." - April 2020
"Qui showed each and every one of us what it's like to be a leader in more ways than one. She led us on and off the field, and taught us how to be a family. I'll miss you Qui!" - April 2020
