WHAT OTHERS SAY:

  • One of the most hard-working and committed student-athletes I know. Andrew was a true leader as a captain and did a fantastic job bringing energy and devotion to the team for four years. As one of the most influential parts of my RPI Tennis career, I'm glad I've gotten to know and play tennis with him since juniors.
  • Andrew was a great competitor and a strong leader as team captain. Always gave all he had on the court and it was fun sharing the court with him in doubles!
  • From a coach: Andrew's intentions were clear from day 1 of his recruitment. He would do anything in his time at RPI to make the best out of himself as well as the individuals around him. His dedication to the team pushed him to be a captain as a freshman and pushed RPI Tennis to new heights. Andrew's role in capturing RPI's first Liberty League championship and a trip to the NCAA's was pivotal and he has continued to lead us to incredible success. His role as captain often overshadowed his impressive playing career, which saw him become an All-American doubles player and a pivotal part of our starting lineup throughout his time here. His growth on and off the court has been a pleasure to be a part of and witness.

FROM A COACH:

  • Brian has been an integral part of our team and a big part of our successes. He has been a reliable and steady player for us, clinching some of RPI's biggest wins over the last four years. His quiet confidence and an unbelievable determination to win has made that all possible. He has worked incredibly hard at RPI to keep his tennis and academics as well as his multitude of extracurricular activities a part of his life.

What Makes Rensselaer So Special: I think RPI is the perfect combination of athletics and academics. I think I got the best of both worlds here at RPI.

Post-Graduation Plans: I will be getting my MBA here at RPI.

WHAT OTHERS SAY:

  • As one of the most outgoing people I've met at RPI, Winston brought positivity and spirit to everything he put his mind to. An amazing player on the court, he showed passion for the sport and made strong connections with everyone on his team.
  • From a coach: Winston has had a big impact on our team through his tennis as well as his attitude. He was committed to being a strong supporter of everyone on our team and always able to pick people back up after tough losses. His charm and humor have balanced our team and also allowed him to excel in his various roles. A big part of our doubles lineup from day 1, he has been a part of some of RPI's historic wins.

This graduating class has been a highlight of my career. Their ability on the court shows through our successes and records. Their qualities as people far exceed any result achieved and a huge part of RPI Tennis will be missing after this class graduates. I know their legacy as good people will remain and hope that others will follow in their footsteps. I look forward to what they will achieve in the future. - Jon Satkowski, head coach
