Senior Celebration Series: Men's Soccer

At Rensselaer, we are proud to recognize the student-athletes who are members of the Class of 2021. We thank them for their hard work, dedication and tremendous efforts in representing the Institute in a first-class manner academically and athletically. We wish them well in all their future endeavors. 

TREVOR BISSON

Baton Rouge, Louisiana | Computer Science

FROM A COACH:

• Trevor has been a starter since the day he arrived on campus. Scored a game-winner in his first game and has never looked back. He has all the tools a center back needs and has been part of the best center back pairing I have ever had. Trevor has been All-Liberty League First Team every year as well as Rookie of the Year and last season was an All-American. We are lucky to have Trevor returning next fall.

JOE DI MICELI

Rockville Centre, New York | Civil Engineering

FROM A COACH:

• Joe has been a starter since the day he stepped on campus. He is our captain, our on-field leader. In my opinion Joe does not get enough credit as one of the best defenders in the Liberty league. Very few people work harder and he is part of the best center back pairing I have ever had. We are very lucky to have Joe back to lead us again next fall.

DANNY DUKESHIRE

Nashua, New Hampshire | Computer Science

FROM A COACH:

• Dan is a great team player and was willing to try and do anything we asked of him. He is a great athlete and possesses a great deal of skill. Along with his performance on the field, Dan was also a very good student. I enjoyed working with Dan and will miss his presence on the team. We wish him the all the best in his future and know he will be successful.

MICHAEL HARTEN

Merrick, New York | Civil Engineering

FROM A COACH:

• Mike is the engine room of our team; he runs the midfield for us. He has been a starter since his freshman year. His work rate, desire and touch on the ball are unmatched. Mike is as hard as nails and very good in the air for a guy his size. Mike will be one of our captains next fall and we are very lucky to have him back to drive us.

CAM LAW

Clarence, New York | Aeronautical Engineering

FROM A COACH:

• Cam is a very smooth left footed player who can serve a top notch ball from the left. He is a hard worker who never gives up. He trains hard every day and shows great promise going forward. We are lucky to have Cam coming back next fall. 

CHARLIE SANDSON

Timonium, Maryland | Industrial and Management Engineering

FROM A COACH:

• Charlie is a very hard worker. His determination to make our team paid off his sophomore year. He joined a very good goalkeeping group and immediately fit in. His work ethic was contagious to his teammates. Charlie knew what his role on the team was and always did his job. Charlie will be very successful in the next phase of his life and we will miss him. He was pleasure to be around.

TOMMASO VALAGUSSA

Arlington, Massachusetts | Business and Management

FROM A COACH:

• Tommaso is a very talented player who can play multiple positions for us. His pace and ability to get off quality shots on goal are something we are looking to take advantage of next fall. We are very lucky to have Maso back.
