MEN'S SOCCER (5-5-5; 3-2-2 Liberty League)

The Engineers earned a critical three points with a 2-1 win over Ithaca last Saturday but lost 2-1 at Vassar on Wednesday. They currently sit in sixth place in the Liberty League and will earn a bid to the conference playoffs with a win or tie on Saturday against seventh place Clarkson at East Campus Stadium (2pm). The top six teams make the playoffs.

WOMEN'S SOCCER (3-7-3; 1-3-2 Liberty League)

RPI tied Vassar on Wednesday (0-0) and now have one game remaining, a visit to sixth place Clarkson on Saturday at 2pm

WOMEN'S HOCKEY (2-6-0; 0-0-0 ECAC Hockey)

A weekend sweep of RIT that included two shutouts, 2-0 and 3-0, leads RPI into ECAC Hockey play with a trip to the North Country upcoming. The Engineers face St. Lawrence on Friday at 6pm before taking on Clarkson on Saturday at 3pm. Click HERE for game notes.

MEN'S HOCKEY (4-1-0; 0-0-0 ECAC Hockey)

RPI visited Canisius last Tuesday and lost for the first time in five games, 3-2. It has the chance to bounce back against rival Union in the ECAC Hockey opener on Friday at 7pm at the Houston Field House on Family Weekend. The game with the Dutchmen is also Rensselaer's annual Blackout! The Engineers head to Schenectady for a rematch on Saturday night at 7pm. WOMEN'S AND MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY

It's championship season for the Engineers! The Liberty League Meet comes up on Saturday at Vassar Farm in Poughkeepsie with the women kicking off at noon and the men at 1pm. RPI is the 5-time defending men's champion while the women look to improve on their runner-up finish from a season ago.

FOOTBALL (5-2; 3-0 Liberty League)

After a 16-13 win over Hobart and a bye week, the Engineers are back on the field on Saturday at Ithaca (1pm) in a matchup of two of the first place teams in the Liberty League.

FIELD HOCKEY (7-9; 1-6 Liberty League)

A decisive 4-1 win over St. Lawrence began the week for the Engineers, who then played at Skidmore on Sunday, losing 2-0. The season concludes on Saturday at 1pm against Oneonta on Family Weekend. It is also Senior Day for five student-athletes.
