TROY, N.Y. – Playoff hockey returns to the Houston Field House on the campus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) this weekend as the Engineers host Dartmouth College in a best-of-three ECAC Hockey First Round series. Games 1 and 2 are on Friday and Saturday, both with 7pm starts, and Game 3, if necessary, is slated for Sunday at 4pm.
 
External spectators are allowed to attend the games and tickets will go on sale on Wednesday beginning at 10am at the Houston Field House Box Office. Purchases can also be made over the telephone by calling the box office at (518) 276-6262 and online at https://rpiathletics.universitytickets.com/. Prices are $6 for RPI students with valid ID and $10 for all others. Cash, check, and credit cards can be used.
 
The box office will be open to sell tickets to Games 1 and 2 on Wednesday from 10am to 5pm, Thursday from 9am to 5pm, Friday from 9am to post-game, and Saturday from noon until post-game. Tickets for Game 3 will be available upon the determination that Game 3 is necessary. Masks are required when purchasing tickets in person and all seats are sold as general admission.
 
All spectators will be required to show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 prior to entering the Houston Field House for each game. Fully vaccinated occurs two weeks after receiving the second dose of the two-dose vaccine (Moderna or Pfizer) or two weeks after the single-dose (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine and any booster shots as recommended by the CDC when eligible. Physical card, a picture of the card and an Excelsior Pass are all acceptable.

CDC compliant face masks must be worn at all times while inside the Field House. Masks must be clean, free of rips or tears, and worn properly (covering the nose and mouth). Gaiter-type face masks and bandanas are not permitted.

Doors will be open one hour prior to puck drop with only one point of entry (North side of the lobby). Alternate entries will not be accessible. For more information, contact the Houston Field House Box Office at (518) 276-6262.
 
RPI is the No. 6 seed and Dartmouth is No. 11. The Engineers won the two regular season meetings, 2-0 on February 1 in Hanover, N.H., and 6-3 on Friday in Troy.
