TROY, N.Y. - Audrey-Anne Veillette scored twice, including one on the power play late in the game to tie the score, and Joannie Garand tallied the game-winner at 2:22 of overtime to lead The University of Montreal to a 3-2 win over Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in a women's hockey exhibition game at the Houston Field House.
The visitors earned the victory after a face off win by Jessika Boulanger in their offensive zone that was collected by Laurie Fontaine and fed to Garand. She found herself in a 1-on-1 with the goalie and deposited the puck in the extra sesson, which featured 3-on-3 skaters.
