WOMEN'S SOCCER (3-3-2; 1-0-1 Liberty League)

The Engineers defeated Utica 2-1 on Tuesday night to increase their unbeaten streak to 3-0-1. Increasing it further will be a challenge as Liberty League action picks back up on Saturday at Skidmore (3pm).

WOMEN'S TENNIS (1-0; 0-0 Liberty League)

RPI opened the dual match portion of its schedule with an 8-1 win at SUNY New Paltz on Wednesday and now focus on a home showdown with Hamilton on Saturday at noon on Sharp Courts. 

MEN'S SOCCER (3-3-3; 1-0-1 Liberty League)

The Engineers hosted Liberty League foe St. Lawrence at ECAV Stadium on Wednesday night and drew even with the Saints, 2-2. Saturday afternoon features a tilt with Skidmore, another league opponent, starting at 2pm.

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY AND MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY

The Engineers, who last competed on September 10, head to Pennsylvania for the prestigious Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh on Friday morning. The schedule of events has RPI being represented in both the Men's Open 8k (9:30am), the women's Open 6k (10:15am), the men's Gold 8k (11am) and the women's Brown 6k (1pm).

MEN'S TENNIS (0-0; 0-0 Liberty League)

RPI saw two singles players and two doubles teams advance to the finals at the Middlebury Invitational last week while playing some of the stiffest competition in Division III. The Engineers are right back on the court this weekend for the three-day ITA Northeast Regional at Drew University. Action begins on Friday morning and continues into the weekend for those who advance.

WOMEN'S HOCKEY (0-0-0; 0-0-0 ECAC Hockey)

The regular season starts this weekend with a pair of games at St. Cloud State in Minnesota. Face off on Friday is 5pm with Saturday's contest beginning at 2pm (both times Eastern).

GOLF

After winning back-to-back tournaments and then having last weekend without competition, the Engineers return to play on Saturday and Sunday at the Liberty League Fall Preview in Potsdam. Tee times are 11am on Saturday and 10am on Sunday.

FOOTBALL (2-2; 0-0 Liberty League)

Liberty League play gets underway for the Engineers on Saturday afternoon at Rochester (1pm). It is the second straight week that RPI will be in the Rochester area following a game at St. John Fisher, which RPI lost 3-0.

MEN'S HOCKEY

Men's hockey action at the Houston Field House starts on Saturday with a scrimmage against Colgate at 4pm and continues on Sunday with an exhibition game against Toronto at 3pm. The regular season begins on October 7-8 with home games against Mercyhurst (7pm both days).

FIELD HOCKEY (5-4; 0-1 Liberty League)

Rensselaer split a pair of games last week, losing 5-1 against Vassar on Saturday and blanking St. John Fisher 3-0 on Sunday. This week's schedule shows a single game, which is Saturday night at 6pm at Union in a Liberty League contest.
