PREVIEW! Weekend Action Includes Eight Teams

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL (9-8; 6-4 Liberty League)

Starting the week off strong with a 58-33 win over Bard on Tuesday, a tough weekend followed with an 85-68 loss at Vassar and a close defeat of 55-51 at Skidmore. The Engineers are on the road again this weekend with trips to Union and Ithaca on Friday (5:30pm) and Saturday (2pm), respectively.

MEN'S BASKETBALL (13-4; 7-3 Liberty League)

Rensselaer gained two wins this past week by beating Bard 53-44 on Tuesday and Skidmore 70-57 on Saturday. The Engineers fell to Vassar in double overtime on Friday night (70-63). The weekend brings games at Union on Friday (7:30pm) and Ithaca on Saturday (4pm).

WOMEN'S HOCKEY (7-18-1; 3-11-1 ECAC Hockey)

Following a weekend in which it split its two games, losing 3-1 to Harvard and defeating Dartmouth 2-1, RPI will play a double header against Union. The Engineers return to the Houston Field House against the Dutchwomen on Friday (6pm) and will play them again on Saturday at 3pm in the 5th Annual Mayor's Cup at MVP Arena in Albany.

MEN'S HOCKEY (10-14-1; 5-9-0 ECAC Hockey)

The Engineers returned to the Houston Field House and improved to 10-3-1 on home ice with overtime wins over Clarkson (3-2) and St. Lawrence (4-3). This week features one game, the highly-anticipated Mayor's Cup Game against Union at the MVP Arena in Albany on Saturday (6pm).

WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD AND MEN'S TRACK & FIELD

It will be a busy week in track & field with student-athletes competing at Boston University on Friday (11am) and Saturday (11am) and the two teams headed to Utica for the Blue and Orange Invitational at Saturday (11am). The Engineers enjoyed success at the Middlebury College Winter Classic with a couple of victories and several runner-up perfomances.

WOMEN'S SWIMMING & DIVING (5-2) AND MEN'S SWIMMING & DIVING (6-1)

It was a sweep of Skidmore and Union last weekend with both the women's and men's teams capturing their dual meets. The dual meet seasons come to an end this weekend with action against Hamilton and Tufts on Saturday beginning at 1pm. The competition will take place at Colgate University's pool.
