WOMEN'S SWIMMING

The Engineers have one day of competition with senior Alyssa Cahill competing in the 200 backstroke on Saturday and also joining Ola Nawrocki, Shannon Brown, and Colleen Whittaker in the 400 free relay at the NCAA Division III Championships in North Carolina. Preliminaries are at 10am and finals are at 6pm.

MEN'S LACROSSE (3-4; 0-0 Liberty League)

RPI dropped a 15-12 decision to Hamilton on Wednesday and now the Engineers open their Liberty League slate on Saturday at Vassar (1pm).

BASEBALL (5-4-1; 0-0 Liberty League)

The Engineers had a full slate of games last week, going 4-3 over a seven-day span. After posting wins over Gwynedd Mercy and Waynesburg, they lost to WPI before returning to Troy. RPI split doubleheaders with Colby and Bates and return to competition on Saturday against Keene State and Sunday versus Utica. Both are doubleheaders that are scheduled to start at noon at Robison Field at Karl Steffen Ballpark.

An 18-10 win at Rhodes last week kept RPI's perfect record intact and now the Engineers open Liberty League play with its first home contest, Saturday at noon against No. 11 Ithaca at ECAV Stadium.

No. 35 MEN'S TENNIS (3-4; 1-0 Liberty League)

RPI played three matches in California, going 1-2 with losses to nationally-ranked Occidental and Emory and a win over Whittier. Another ranked foe, No. 24 Brandeis, visits the area on Saturday for a match at 2pm at Tri City Fitness in Latham.
