PREVIEW! Nine Teams in Action This Weekend

BASEBALL (10-7-1; 1-2 Liberty League)

Following a 5-3 win over Castleton on Tuesday and a 5-4 loss to Middlebury on Wednesday, the Engineers board a bus for the first time in the Northeast to play at conference foe Union in a doubleheader on Saturday (1pm). The Dutchmen turn around and visit Robison Field at Karl Steffen Ballpark on Sunday for a single game at noon.

SOFTBALL (8-4; 0-0 Liberty League)

Following a break since March 12, the Engineers returned to the field on Wednesday and swept a doubleheader against Castleton,  12-4 and 6-4. RPI's next action is Sunday at 2pm when it hosts Russell Sage for a pair (the games were moved a day due to the weather).

WOMEN'S LACROSSE (5-2; 0-2 Liberty League)

Another league game happens on Saturday at 11am (previously scheduled for noon) at RIT for the Engineers, who took a 12-9 loss at Union on Wednesday.

MEN'S & WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD

The outdoor track & field seasons started on Sunday at the J. Elmer Swanson Spring Classic with the Engineers collecting eight victories, including seven on the men's side. This week the squads head to Hamilton for meets on Saturday at 10am.

No. 35 WOMEN'S TENNIS (7-2; 1-0 Liberty League)

The No. 35 Engineers are back in action for the first time since March 9 when they visit conference foe St. Lawrence on Saturday at 1pm. They turn around and host The College of New Jersey on Sunday at 2pm at Tri-City Fitness.

No. 30 MEN'S TENNIS (4-4; 1-0 Liberty League)

A trip to Vassar to play a league match on Saturday at 2pm begins a two-match weekend for the No. 30 Engineers, who host The College of New Jersey on Sunday at 2pm at Tri-City Fitness.

MEN'S LACROSSE (5-5; 2-0 Liberty League)

RPI bounced back from a 13-6 loss at Williams by defeating Skidmore 12-9 to keep its perfect Liberty League intact. This week includes only one game with a trip to No. 3 RIT on Saturday at 11:30am (originally scheduled for 3:30pm but moved up due to weather concerns).

No. 17 GOLF

RPI, which is ranked No. 17 in the latest Division III Poll, heads to Pennsylvania for the Hershey Cup on Sunday and Monday. Tee times for Sunday are scheduled to begin at 8am and Monday’s start time at 8:30am.
