GAME DAY! Three Teams in Action at Home

SOFTBALL (11-5; 0-0 Liberty League)

The Engineers split a pair with Oneonta last Monday, winning 9-8 in the opener and losing 5-3 in the nightcap and then had a doubleheader at Utica postponed. It is back on Doris Robison Field on Tuesday with a twinbill against Cortland (3pm) before a trip to Utica on Wednesday (3pm) and another to Skidmore for the Liberty League opener on Saturday (1pm). A fourth doubleheader for the week is Sunday at home against Clarkson (1pm).

BASEBALL (15-9-1; 3-3 Liberty League)

Rensselaer won three times while suffering one defeat last week. A victory over Williams was followed by a loss at Plattsburgh State. The Engineers swept a doubleheader with Purchase on Saturday and now prep for non-league game with Utica on Tuesday at Robison Field at Karl Steffen Ballpark (4pm). It is then back to conference play as St. Lawrence visits for a pair on Saturday (1pm) and Clarkson is in town for two on Sunday (12pm).

No. 30 MEN'S TENNIS (6-5; 2-1 Liberty League)

The No. 30 Engineers hosted No. 29 Skidmore on Sharp Courts and defeated the Thoroughbreds 7-2 in conference action. It is back on the home surface on Tuesday when Union (5pm) crosses the river and again on Friday when Bard (5:30pm) travels north. A trip to St. Lawrence on Saturday follows with play scheduled to begin at 1pm. All three matches this week are conference contests.

No. 35 WOMEN'S TENNIS (10-3; 3-1 Liberty League)

A two-match week began with a 9-0 win over Bard but was followed by a 5-4 loss to No. 29 Skidmore. This week's action includes only a home match against Union on Wednesday at 3:30pm.

WOMEN'S LACROSSE (8-2; 3-2 Liberty League)

The Engineers earned two road victories last week, defeating Vassar 21-11 and Bard 23-3 in conference play last week. They return home after playing four straight on the road beginning on Wednesday night against Skidmore (7:30pm) before St. Lawrence visits on Saturday at 3pm.

MEN'S TRACK & FIELD AND WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD

Both teams finished in second place in tri-meets with Bates and Tufts last weekend and now the Engineers have another home meet with the RPI Under the Lights on Friday beginning at 3:3pm at Ned Harkness Track & Field. Additionally, team members from both squads will head to Bucknell for competition on Saturday and Sunday.

MEN'S LACROSSE (6-6; 3-1 Liberty League)

Rensselaer evened its overall record and moved to 3-1 in the Liberty League with a come-from-behind 14-11 win over Clarkson on Saturday in Troy. This week's lone game is on Saturday at 3pm at No. 10 Union in Schenectady.
