No. 17 GOLF

RPI, which is ranked No. 17 in Division III, won the Hershey Cup by three strokes on Monday, led by medalist Jacob Lindsay, who shot a 67 on the second day of competition. The Engineers return to action on Saturday and Sunday in the Dr. Tim Brown Invitational hosted by Skidmore at Ballston Spa Country Club

SOFTBALL (11-5; 0-0 Liberty League)

The Engineers split a pair with Oneonta on Monday, winning 9-8 in the opener and losing 5-3 in the nightcap. They were scheduled to board the bus on Wednesday for a doubleheader at Utica but that has been postponed.

BASEBALL (13-8-1; 3-3 Liberty League)

Rensselaer won for the third straight time on Tuesday, defeating Williams 9-1 in a non-league game. Next up is a trip to Plattsburgh State scheduled for Friday (3pm) and a home doubleheader against Purchase on Saturday (12pm).

No. 35 WOMEN'S TENNIS (9-2; 2-0 Liberty League)

A two-match week began with a 9-0 win over Bard on Wednesday and now the No. 35 Engineers turn their attention to No. 29 Skidmore on Saturday at 2pm at Tri-City Fitness.

WOMEN'S LACROSSE (6-2; 1-2 Liberty League)

Following road games at Union (12-9 loss) and RIT (13-12 win) last week, it is back on the bus for the Engineers, who travel to Vassar on Friday (3pm) and Bard on Saturday (1pm) to wrap up its season-long stretch of four straight away contests.

No. 30 MEN'S TENNIS (5-5; 1-1 Liberty League)

The Engineers bounced back from a 7-2 loss at Vassar on Saturday with a 5-4 win over The College of New Jersey. RPI has one match this week, Saturday against No. 29 Skidmore at a time to be determined.

MEN'S & WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD

The Engineers enjoyed success at the Hamilton College Continental Invitational on Saturday and now turn their attention to hosting a tri-meet with Bates and Tufts on Saturday beginning at noon.

RPI suffered its first Liberty League loss with a 14-7 defeat at No. 3 RIT but look to return to the win column on Saturday at 1pm against Clarkson in a conference showdown.
