Engineers Bested By Tough Skidmore Squad

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.- The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's soccer team saw its nine game unbeaten streak come to an end at Liberty League rival Skidmore today.

The host Thoroughbreds, who have yet to record a loss this season, received a 67th minute strike from Ella Stone to improve to 8-0-2 this fall.

The Engineers had seven shots on goal, including a team-high attempts on frame from Brooke Miller. Rachel Borra had two shots that required saves as well.

Sierra Skelding and Megan Wampner combined to make 14 saves in net for RPI.

RPI will look to get back on track when William and Smith visits ECAV Stadium at 4:00 pm on Friday.
