Late Shmuckler Goal Gives RPI 1-1 Draw With Clarkson

TROY, N.Y.- The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's soccer team battled to a 1-1 draw with Clarkson today in ECAV Stadium.

Facing a 1-0 deficit late in the second half, Sam Shmukler buried a right-footed attempt from the outer edge of the 18-yard box to level the score for the Engineers.

Joseph Ochieng and Ben Dionisio were credited with an assist on the Shmukler goal, as the duo each provided a quality pass to build the scoring sequence.

Looking forward, the Engineers are next set to travel to Vassar for a 3:00 pm meeting on Wednesday afternoon.
