Women’s Soccer Draws Against Vassar

TROY, N.Y.- The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's soccer team played to a scoreless draw against Vassar tonight at ECAV Stadium.

Vassar doubled the Engineers in both shots and attempts on goal, however goalkeepers Sierra Skelding and Megan Wampner combined to make four saves to keep the RPI net empty.

Wampner extinguished the best opportunity of the game for either side, as she sprinted out of the box to win a one-on-one battle with a free-running Brewer forward in the closing minutes.

Next up, the Engineers travel west to face Ithaca on Friday night.
