TROY, N.Y.- 14 members of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) football team were selected as All-Liberty League performers by the conference's seven head coaches.
Five Engineers were named first team All-Liberty League, with senior wide receiver
Sean Kelly, senior offensive lineman
Aidan Monteiro, senior defensive lineman
Nate Sicard, senior linebacker
Anthony D'Agostino, and junior defensive back
Cassius Johnson each honored as one of the top players at their respective positions.
Johnson was also honored as a second team All-Liberty League return specialist, as he joined a group of five Engineers to receive second team accolades. Senior quarterback
Jake Kazanowsky, sophomore running back
Kayden White, junior offensive lineman
Nicholas Cirulli, and junior defensive back
Cortez Garrett were featured on the second team as well.
RPI also saw senior tight end
Shane Allison, junior offensive lineman
JT Morello, senior defensive lineman
Owen Boland, graduate defensive lineman
Cole Garrison, senior linebacker
Mark Lapioli, and punter
Anderson Burke earn Honorable Mention honors.
2024 marked the 12th consecutive season (and 22nd time in the last 23 years) which the RPI football program has finished with a .500 or better record.
