SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY- The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's lacrosse team took a 12-7 setback at Liberty League rival Skidmore this evening. 

Lauren DeLeo scored a team-high three goals for the Engineers, while Gabbie Valle and Ella Graff tallied two goals apiece.

RPI lead 5-4 at halftime, with Valle and Graff netting both their strikes in the first 30 minutes to help the Engineers. 

Skidmore owned eight of the ten goals in the second half to secure the league victory.

The Engineers will look to regroup with a 1:00 pm meeting at No. 18 Ithaca on Saturday afternoon.
