Men's Soccer Limited at SUNY Plattsburgh

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y.- The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's soccer team was defeated 2-0 at SUNY Plattsburgh this afternoon.

After a scoreless opening 45 minutes, Plattsburgh found the back of the net twice in the second half to claim the home victory.

Tristan Laundree began the scoring in the 62nd minute for the Cardinals, while John Hayes followed with another Plattsburgh goal seven minutes.

The Cardinals generated an 11-1 shot advantage over the Engineers on the day. Colin Such had three saves for RPI.

The Engineers will look to bounce back in Saturday's 3:00 pm home tilt against SUNY Oneonta in ECAV Stadium.
