RPI Wins 1-0 at Liberty League Rival St. Lawrence

CANTON, N.Y.- The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's soccer began the Liberty League portion of its schedule with a 1-0 win at St. Lawrence this afternoon.

Rachel Borra's 61st-minute strike was all the Engineers needed to earn their sixth win in the last seven games.

Borra one-touched home a deflected ball from the top of the St. Lawrence box for the go-ahead score.

The Engineers attempted 18 of the 30 shots on the afternoon, and had six opportunities on goal.

Borra had a team-high three shots, while Annabelle Bachhuber attempted two shots for RPI.

The Engineers will look to keep the momentum rolling with a 1:00 pm home Liberty League matchup against Union next Saturday.
