ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's basketball team cruised past Bard, 76–47, for a third straight Liberty League win.
Four Engineers shared team-high honors with 13 points apiece, as
Kellen Driscoll,
Billy Feeks,
PJ Scalisi, and
Andrew Deppe all finished at the identical mark.
Driscoll added five rebounds, Feeks drilled three three-pointers, Scalisi had a team-best six assists and three steals, and Deppe also logged five rebounds, two steals, and a block.
Pat White grabbed a game-high eight rebounds and
Dylan Matchett added seven points with seven boards and three assists.
RPI controlled the margins throughout, winning the glass 42–34 and piling up 42 points in the paint, 28 points off turnovers, 15 second-chance points, and 18 fast-break points. The Engineers held Bard to 37.7% shooting (25.0% from three) and only three free-throw attempts.
The Engineers will take the next two weekends off for the holidays before traveling to Utica for a non-conference date on December 30.
