ONEONTA, NY - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's lacrosse team notched a 15-4 win today at Oneonta.
Ella Graff paced the Engineers with five goals.
Kira Abdelsayed netted three scores, and
Quinn Wollard,
Lauren DeLeo, and
Lisa Boehmer registered two tallies apiece.
The Engineers scored 10 of the first 11 goals of the game to earn their second victory of the season.
Camille Stackhouse recorded one goal and a team-high three assists. Wollard and
Kate McFeeley added one assist apiece as well.
Jenny Canfield and
Julianna Lucas made eight and five saves, respectively, in net for RPI.
Seven different Engineers caused a turnover in the victory, as
Micaela Leonard,
Sofia Cedrone,
Kat Cama,
Maddie Phelan, and
Bethy Spizzo all contributed to the defensive effort.
RPI will head into its spring break trip, with contests set against Virginia Wesleyan and Christopher Newport next week in Virginia Beach.
