Alice Brambati and
Erin vonHousen of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's track & field team were each recognized as major award winners for the Liberty League Indoor Track & Field season.
Brambati earned Liberty League Co-Field Athlete of the Year honors. She capped off her indoor season with a trip to the 2025 NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships, qualifying in the long jump. She finished 20th with a leap of 5.26 meters.
Brambati was recognized as the Liberty League Championship Field Performer of the Meet after winning the long jump (5.68 meters), placing second in the triple jump (11.16 meters), and finishing sixth in the 60-meter hurdles (9.37 seconds). She set RPI program records in both the long jump and triple jump at 5.68 meters and 11.43 meters, respectively.
vonHousen was selected as the Liberty League Rookie of the Year. She wrapped up her rookie indoor season at the 2025 NCAA Division III Championships and competed in the mile as well as the distance medley relay (DMR). In the mile, she finished 17th overall, clocking a time of 5:02.21, and helped the Engineers earn All-America honors with a fifth-place finish in the DMR (11:47.80).
At the Liberty League Championship, vonHousen posted a pair of runner-up showings in the 800 meters and mile with times of 2:13.80 and 4:54.78. She was also part of RPI's third-place DMR squad; she ran the 800-meter leg in 2:15.00 and combined with her teammates for a time of 12:20.22. This winter, she set RPI indoor program records in the 800 (2:13.80), mile (4:44.78 flat track time), and DMR (11:44.78).
