SCHENECTADY, NY- The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's lacrosse team concluded its season today in a weather-effected first round Liberty League matchup at Union.
The host Garnet Chargers claimed the 14-7 win in a contest that started on Tuesday night before being postponed a day later due to inclement weather.
Ella Graff scored four goals, while Camille Stackhouse, Kate McFeeley, and Lisa Boehmer netted one tally each for RPI.
McFeeley registered the first goal of the first quarter using an Audrey Silverman assist before Union pocketed two scores to precede the weather interruption on Tuesday.
Union would score seven of the next nine goals once play resumed tonight.
Stackhouse and Graff found the back for the net in the second, before the later struck two more times in the third. Boehmer deposited her score early in the fourth prior to Graff's fourth goal of the evening in the final quarter. Graff added the assist on Boehmer's tally to finish the night with five points.
The Engineers finish the spring with an overall record of 9-7 overall.
