TROY, N.Y. — The RPI women's soccer team earned a 1-1 Liberty League draw against Ithaca this afternoon at ECAV Stadium.
After a scoreless opening half, Ithaca took the lead in the 49th minute when Kyra Lynch finished a setup from Casey Gorman. RPI answered almost immediately, as
Elsa Ryan found the back of the net just over two minutes later to level the contest at 1-1.
The Engineers controlled much of the second half from there, outshooting Ithaca 10-2 over the final 45 minutes.
Maddy Kaminski,
Isabelle Gelzhiser, and
Annabelle Bachhuber each forced saves, while Ryan continued to threaten throughout the period and finished with a game-high six shots, including five on goal.
