On attending Rensselaer: "Great engineering school that offered an aerospace program. I wanted a Division 3 school so I could balance academics and athletics evenly." - August 2020

"My strong interest in science stemmed from a long and internal curiosity I have always had. I've always wanted to know the how and why things work, pushing my boundaries of knowledge and breaking things down to the scientific level to truly understand concepts. My passion for space came from my curiosity when looking at the stars and wondering our place in the universe. It shouldn't go unnoted that this passion was also fueled by some great science fiction movies like Interstellar and The Martian that truly gave me a visual understanding of the size and impact the universe has. The aerospace program at RPI had coupled with it's excellent facilities, reputation and enrollment size made it my optimal choice." - July 2021

Benefits of undergraduate community: "Surrounded by an intelligent community that are all very determined." - August 2020
