On attending Rensselaer: "The small-town feel of the school, hockey of course and the reputation the school holds so I could have an excellent degree after four years." - January 2014

Benefits of undergraduate community at Rensselaer: "It's a smaller community being a school with only roughly 5,000 students so it's hard to not know what is going on around campus with certain events which makes things a lot easier." - January 2014

What has made your time at Rensselaer special?: "My time at Rensselaer has been special for a number of reasons. When I first came here it was because RPI made me feel like a member of their family, and it was a smaller family that I could be a contributing member of. Since I arrived on campus, I have felt that belonging from students, faculty, and coaches. The transition period was very minimal and it wasn't long before I felt a part of the family. This has since allowed me to further better myself not only on the ice but in the classroom and as a person. I do not feel I would have been able to do this anywhere else at the rate I have here.  RPI has provided me with the opportunity to succeed and better myself both on and off the ice and I will forever be grateful for that. That is what has made my time here so special and why I will always be a Rensselaer Engineer." - February 2014
