**From 1995 through 1997, the Engineers played in the ECAC Women’s Hockey Alliance. In the 1997-98 season, the team moved to the ECAC Division III Women’s League and later became a member of the ECAC Division III East Conference from 2001-05. They played as a Division I Independent in 2005-06. Rensselaer began its inaugural season in ECAC Hockey in 2006-07.
