Jeff DuFour has been an assistant coach for the Engineers since 2007. He also serves as the head coach for Rensselaer’s junior varsity squad.
A former standout at The College of Saint Rose standout, DuFour was a two-time All-Northeast-10 selection for the Golden Knights. A centerfielder, he earned National All-American recognition in 2002. That season he helped lead St. Rose to the Northeast-10 Championship. Additionally, he was also the Northeast-10 Freshman of the Year.
Prior to his arrival at Rensselaer, DuFour served as an assistant coach at nearby Hudson Valley Community College for two seasons. He helped guide the Vikings to the Mountain Valley Conference Title in 2007.
DuFour graduated from the College of St. Rose in 2005.
