A 2009 graduate of Rensselaer, Savasli is in his first season on the sidelines for the Engineers. He assists with the defensive backs.
A four-year performer at wide receiver, the Brooklyn, N.Y., native finished his career with 132 catches for 2,194 yards and 22 touchdowns in 38 games. He is fourth in school history in TD catches.
Savasli was an All-Liberty League First Team honoree as well as an All-Region selection after making 45 receptions for 815 yards and nine touchdowns before being injured late in the season.
He earned a degree from the Lally School of Management & Technology.
