Kevin Billington joined the Engineer sidelines in the spring of 2024. Coach Billington brings more than three decades of coaching experience to RPI, including plenty of familiarity with the Liberty League.

"Coach Billington comes to RPI with a wealth of experience," said Head Coach Ralph Isernia at the time of his appointment. "He has immediately made an impact coaching our student-athlete. I'm excited to see the progress."
He spent the last nine years on staff at Union, where he coached one D3football.com All-Region selection, one All-ECAC honoree, and 14 All-Liberty League selections in the secondary. Prior to Union, Billington served as the Head Coach at Cobleskill-Richmondville for 10 seasons.
Billington was a collegiate running back, playing two seasons at St. Lawrence University and two at SUNY Cortland. He received his master’s degree from SUNY Albany.
