Fessette joined the RPI football staff in August of 2011.
Fessette, who hails from Plattsburgh, N.Y., spent the past three years as a full-time graduate assistant at his alma mater, Springfield College. His duties included working with the defensive secondary (2008), the outside linebackers (2009) and the inside linebackers, while also being the head coach of the junior varsity team (2010). The former Beekmantown High School standout also coached the long snappers during his time with the Pride, which he helped lead to two ECAC Championship Bowls. He has also coached at Endicott College and worked many college and high school camps, including Holy Cross University, Northeastern University, Boston College and Syracuse University.
A 2007 graduate of Springfield (B.S. in movement and sport studies), Fessette was a three-year starter at strong safety. He captained the team as a senior on his way to earning All-League and the team's Solem-Dunn-Osur Brotherhood Award.
