Kevin Trigonis was named to the RPI football staff in August 2012. A native of Halfmoon, N.Y., Trigonis joined the Engineers from Carroll University in Wisconsin.

While at Carroll, where he spent three years, he was the offensive line coach each year and the offensive coordinator in 2011. In addition to managing the offensive staff and coordinating all phases of the offense, Trigonis handled the field goal and extra point units, served as the head coach of the junior varsity, arranged travel and recruited throughout the Chicago area. He was also an assistant track and field coach for the Pioneers.

A graduate of Shenendehowa High School, he spent two years at Amherst College, where he coached the running backs in 2008 and the tight ends and H-backs in 2009. Trigonis was also involved with the special teams, was the video coordinator and recruited in nine states. He was also an assistant track & field coach for the Lord Jeffs.

He worked as the offensive line and tight end coach for Salve Regina University in 2006 before enrolling in the Elementary Education graduate program at UMass-Amherst.

Trigonis graduated from St. Lawrence University with a degree in sociology. While with the Saints, who compete in the Liberty League with the Engineers, he played football for two years and competed on both the indoor and outdoor track and field teams. An injury forced him into the football coaching booth as an undergraduate intern for the offensive line and tight ends while still competing in track, for which he was the indoor captain in 2005.

A member of the American Football Coaches Association since 2006, Trigonis has worked numerous camps and clinics and has also been heavily involved in community service.
