Maurice Hart has been in the collegiate coaching ranks since 2009, and joins the Engineer staff after two seasons at Emporia State University in Kansas, where he coached the cornerbacks. Hart, who played scholastically at Western Michigan University, spent two seasons coaching defensive backs, first at Greensboro College in North Carolina during the 2010-11 season, before mentoring players in 2011-12 at Ellsworth College in Iowa Falls, Iowa. He also spent one season as an intern at North Carolina Central University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. He also spent time as a high school defensive coordinator, where he guided several All-Conference players as well as one All-American.
