Pat DelMonaco

Pasqule “Pat” DelMonaco, Jr. joined the Rensselaer football staff in 2003, serving as the offensive line coach. In addition, he is the program's offensive coordinator as well as the recruiting coordinator.

During DelMonaco’s first two seasons, the Engineers have averaged over 5.7 yards per play and more than 425 yards per contest, including 281 passing. The team has rushed for over 100 yards in 12 of 21 games and over 200 yards five times while Rensselaer’s quarterbacks have thrown for over 300 yards nine times and over 400 yards four times.

DelMonaco, whose offensive line allowed only six sacks in 2004, joined the Engineers from Hudson Valley Community College, where he coached the offensive line in his first two years and the quarterbacks in his third and final season. Between his second and third year with the Vikings, DelMonaco was a graduate assistant with the offensive line at the University of Illinois.

As a player, the Sleepy Hollow, N.Y., native played center at the University at Albany from 1996 to 2000, captaining the team as a senior. During his four years, the Great Danes posted a 35-7 overall record and won two Eastern Football Conference Championships (1997, 1998).

DelMonaco, who earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history in 2000, resides in Niskayuna with his wife, Kelly, and their daughter, Julia.
