A former captain of the Engineers, Kevin Broad is in his second season as a volunteer assistant coach with the team.
In 129 career games as a forward for Rensselaer, Broad tallied 21 goals and 17 assists for 38 points with 120 penalty minutes. He was a multiple ECAC Hockey All-Academic selection.
A native of Humboldt, Sask., Broad graduated with a management
degree in 2007. A Dean’s List student, he was hired by the Institute and is an admissions counselor for the Office of Enrollment Management.
Broad served as the color commentator for Rensselaer’s games that were televised in 2007-08.
