2024-25: Played 32 games ... 10 goals and 10 assists for 20 points ... 53 shots on goal ... eight blocked shots  ...  Second on the team in goals.

2023-24: Played 34 games...Five goals and 12 assists for 17 points...51 shots on goal...10 blocked shots...Second on the team in power-play scoring...Fourth on the team in assists… Fifth on the team in points.

Before Rensselaer: Tinling arrives in Troy after spending the last few years competing in junior hockey. Most recently, Tinling played for the Penticton Vees of the BCHL, appearing in 43 games with 17 goals and 30 asissts for 47 points in the regular season. In the BCHL playoffs, he scored eight goals and dished out 13 assists for 21 points over 17 games. Tinling also played one season for the Des Moines Buccaneers of the USHL in 2021-22 putting up 25 points in 39 games after spending two years with the Catamounts in 2020-21 and 2021-22. The Pointe-Claire, Quebec native also played in the CCHL for the Hawkesbury Hawks in 2019-20, putting up 51 points over 50 games. Last summer, Tinling attended development camp for the NHL's Philadelphia Flyers.
