Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Athletics

Coach "Doc" Hudson, a Professor Emeritus of Materials Engineering at Rensselaer, has been involved in Rensselaer's track program since he arrived on campus as a freshman in 1952.  During his tenure, he has competed as an undergraduate, served as a volunteer assistant coach, head cross country and track coach and currently specializes in coaching the throwing events.

In his career, Doc has coached three National Champions in the hammer throw and 20 National All-Americans in a variety of events.
