Christina Ross joined the Rensselaer women's hockey staff in December of 2018.
Among Ross' responsibilities are video coordination, including breaking down game tapes, preparation and pre-scouting for upcoming opponents, team travel coordination and various administrative duties.
Currently an assistant coordinator with Saugerties Youth Hockey Association girls program, Ross was a volunteer for the last five years and has been the team manager for the girls travel program for the last two, which includes an invite to the Empire State Winter Games. She has worked with fundraising, recruitment and tournament organization.
Ross was previously an Administrative Specialist in Office of the Provost at Rensselaer, assisting with the preparation of speeches, presentations, editing documents and maintaining the department's website. She coordinated travel, seminars, luncheons and meetings for visiting candidates and speakers, while also assisting in the travel arrangements for the Faculty Senate and Faculty Diversity Committee.
Prior to Rensselaer, Ross spent three years at the Windham Mountain Resort as an Ambassador and Assistant Supervisor. She was also an Administrative Support Associate at Albany Medical Center from 2010-13, managing the departments accounting, including records of accounts payable, vendor invoices and accounting reports.
Ross spent four years as a Program Assistant at Union College (2004-07), managing events for the Alumni Relations office. She maintained the Event Management web pages and produced Alumni Directories.
