    Assistant Coach - Javelin

Warren Lutes serves as an assistant coach on the Rensselaer track & field team, working primarily with the javelin athletes.

Prior to his position as an assistant, Lutes was the head coach of the track & field squad from 1961-1971 and 1986-2000, during which time he coached several All-Americans. He was named the 2000 Indoor Atlantic Region Coach of the Year and 2000 Indoor and Outdoor NYSCTC Coach of the Year.
