Adrian Donnelly joined the RPI Athletics Department as the Assistant Athletic Director in the spring of 2024.
Donnelly leads the department's strategic media plans on multiple platforms, including RPIathletics.com. He serves as the direct media liaison surrounding external coverage, and oversees all athletic social & digital media and creative content streams, as well as the day-to-day coverage of all 23 varsity athletic programs.
Prior to RPI, Donnelly spent more than five years on the athletic communications team at The College of Saint Rose, including the last two seasons as the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications.
Donnelly holds bachelor's degrees in sport management from SUNY Cortland and broadcasting from of the Dan Patrick School of Sports Broadcasting at Full Sail University, where the latter has provided him live play-by-play opportunities for Rollins College, Saint Rose, WWE, and NCAA Championship events. .
Prior to returning to his hometown Albany in 2019, Adrian served as a Production Assistant for WWE in Orlando, FL. Additionally, he has held project manager roles at the Tampa, FL-based engineering firms Dynasty Building Solutions and Kusser Fountainworks. Before departing to Florida, Adrian spent time as the Sports Program Director at the United Sports Training Center in Philadelphia.
