GENEVA, N.Y. - Sean Scott's goal just 5:37 into the overtime session broke a scoreless tie and gave St. Lawrence University a 1-0 victory over Rensselaer in the semi-finals of the Liberty League Tournament.  With the win, the Saints improve to 11-6-1 while the #25 Red Hawks fall to 13-5-1 on the season.

After going scoreless through the first two periods, St. Lawrence took advantage in the extra session as Brendan Gorman came down the left side and sent a cross through the middle to Scott, who put it past RPI goalie Alex Penny for the victory.

The Saints, which held a slight 9-8 advantage in shots for the game, saw netminder Emilio Coletta post three saves.  Paul LaMarca posted a game-high shots for St. Lawrence, which advances to the Championship Game on Saturday to face tournament host and top-seeded Hobart.

The Red Hawks saw Penny post three saves and had a team-high two shots by Lincoln Field.
