Under the direction of 27th-year head coach Mike Griffin the Rensselaer men's basketball team opens its 2011-12 campaign at East Campus Arena on Wedneday night (7pm) against Cooper Union. The Engineers, who went 17-8 overall last season, finished 11-3 in the Liberty League, which was good for a share of the regular season title.
